Diet and training on turbo Tuesday

Training first – 100% fine after Sundays event so have wasted no time on rest beyond Monday morning. This morning we decided against the turbo as it was lovely and warm but still planned to do a session.

The Stag loop as some fast sections and some good climbs, simply work the fast and the climbs and recover everywhere else. Rach and I nailed this big time. Poor Dave had a tough day, the side effects of his efforts on Sunday.

Great session not as hard as the turbo but very different.

Diet – last time I needed to drop weight I dropped protein from my diet. It worked well so I have started on a high carb low protein diet(one meal a day). The theory is that if I do not supply protein then I will break the muscle down a bit therefore getting smaller. Worked last time :¬)

Patience and all that.
